Southwest Airlines Captains Marc Moreno and Nancy Martin-Belitz will host our behind-the-scenes tour of careers in commercial aviation.

They are among the 2,800 pilots who keep Southwest Airlines flying every day. Their job requires more than just a good take-off and landing. Pilots help inspect the aircraft for safety before each flight. They also monitor weather patterns for best air routes; communicate with air controllers along the way; make detailed reports of each flight; and even entertain a little, helping passengers feel welcome and informed while in the air.
